While BCCI might not have allowed Indian players to trek at the beautiful Dharamshala, the coaching staff led by Rahul Dravid had an eventful trekking day in Dharamshala. BCCI shared a glimpse of the same on their official Instagram account, wherein the support had a moment to savor for the rest of their lives.
In the video, head coach Rahul Dravid, batting coach Vikram Rathore, bowling coach Paras Mhambrey, and other support members went trekking to Triund and completely soaked themselves in nature. “A day off for the squad is a day well spent in the hills for the support staff.” is the caption BCCI gave to the mesmerizing video.

For the unversed, BCCI did not allow players to trek at Dharamshala because they felt the players would get injured during a big event like the World Cup. Although the players got a seven-day break, BCCI instructed players to not indulge in physical activities.
“The team management has informed players that they can’t go trekking, they can go out but can’t do trekking. At the same time during the series no Indian player can even do paragliding as it can go against the player contract,” a BCCI official told Indian Express.
