WATCH: Pakistan’s lethal pace trio hit nets ahead of IND vs PAK Asia Cup 2023 clash

Pakistan will take on the arch-rivals India at the R.Premadasa Stadium, Colombo on September 10 (Sunday)

Pakistan are set to take on the arch-rivals India in their second Super 4 encounter on September 10 (Sunday). Meanwhile, the Pakistan Cricket Board uploaded a video on their official Twitter handle where the pace trio of Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah were seen steaming in the nets.

To note, India is slated to take on Pakistan in their first Super 4 clash on September 10 (Sunday). The last time both sides met, Pakistani pacers were on fire as grabbed all ten Indian wickets. Shaheen was simply impressive as he scalped the big wickets of skipper Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. While the left-arm pacer scalped four wickets, Naseem and Rauf shared three wickets each as India were bowled out for a mere 266.

The Men in Green will take on India at the R.Premadasa Stadium, Colombo. The wicket at the venue generally suits the batters. However, the Pakistani pacers will try to take the advantage of the new ball and get some early wickets.

On the other hand, Indian openers gained some form in their last outing against Nepal. Both Rohit and Gill stroked quickfire fifties with the bat as India completed an easy win over the Rhinos. It remains to be seen how the Indian batting line-up will fare against Pakistani pacers in Round 2 of the Asia Cup 2023.
