The Tokyo Olympics gold medalist Neeraj Chopra, in a fresh interview, has stated that he will train in Spain for the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympics and that he will give his 100 per cent to win a medal for the country. “I will start my preparation for the Paris Olympics and for that, I will go abroad. I will give 100 per cent to win a medal for the country.”
In a rather lengthy reply, Neeraj Chopra, who has a personal best of 89.94m said that he is not thinking about the colour of the medal already, but he will not leave any stone unturned to win a medal at Paris 2024. “Right now I have come to the village. I have been doing treadmill sessions for now. If I talk about the gold medal already, I’ll be putting a lot of pressure on myself, but I’m fully committed to getting the medal.”
“I will give my best at the Olympics as I know that this opportunity comes once in 4 years. I am not worried about the result, just want to prepare well and make the country proud,” he added.

Neeraj Chopra’s Solid 2023
Neeraj has had a wonderful 2023, where he won a host of titles. He became the first Indian ever to win a gold medal at the World Athletics Championships and also defended his Asian Games title. Though the 90m mark still eludes the 25-year-old, but that is of no real value until Neeraj can come up with consistent performances.
