Virat Kohli and Naveen Ul Haq ended their feud with a heartwarming hug during IND vs AFG in Delhi.

Foe-turned-Friends! That’s exactly what happened during IND vs AFG World Cup clash at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Wednesday. While fans were anticipating a fiery encounter between Virat Kohli and Afghanistan pacer Naveen Ul Haq, it all ended when the young pacer hugged the Indian batter during the match.

In the video, that has now gone viral, Naveen Ul Haq was seen talking to Virat Kohli and the duo ended up smiling and hugging.

For those who are unfamiliar, Naveen Ul Haq and Virat Kohli got involved in an ugly spat during the IPL 2023 season earlier this year.

Earlier today, the crowd taunted Naveen Ul Haq with “Kohli..Kohli” chants. But with both players now resolved the feud, it seems the Afghanistan pacer will receive less hostile welcome in the ground.

Talking about the game, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma scored a stunning century to power India to a 8-wicket win over Afghanistan in Delhi. Chasing 273, Rohit stunned the Afghanistan bowlers as he reached the three-figure mark in just 63 balls. The 36-year-old scored 131 before getting dismissed by Rashid Khan. Virat Kohli then scored a unbeaten 55 to guide India to a comfortable win. Earlier, Jasprit Bumrah’s 4-fer helped India restrict Afghanistan to 272/8 in 50 overs.
