Former Indian fast bowler Venkatesh Prasad recently shared a video showcasing the extensive collection of bikes and vintage cars owned by former Indian captain MS Dhoni at his Ranchi farmhouse. Prasad, accompanied by former India selector Sunil Joshi, was given a tour by Dhoni’s wife, Sakshi, who recorded the video. Prasad expressed his awe for Dhoni’s passion and described him as a remarkable achiever and an incredible person.
“One of the craziest passions I have seen in a person. What a collection and what a man MSD is. A great achiever and an even more incredible person. This is a glimpse of his collection of bikes and cars in his Ranchi house. Just blown away by the man and his passion @msdhoni,” Prasad tweeted.

In the video, Sakshi Dhoni asked Prasad, “What do I say? How do you feel being in Ranchi first?” Prasad replied, “Amazing! No, not at all. It’s my fourth time, but this place (MS Dhoni’s bike collection) is crazy.” Sunil Joshi also expressed his amazement, saying, “Not the first time in Ranchi, but first time with the legend. You can’t explain about this whole setup.”
During their conversation, Venkatesh Prasad mentioned the level of passion required to amass such a collection. He said, “Someone needs to have a hell of a lot of passion to have something else, I’m telling you. Unless and until someone is mad about this, you can’t (have these many bikes).” Sakshi agreed, saying, “I would say mad.” Sakshi then turned the camera towards MS Dhoni and asked, “Why Mahi why? What was the need for this?”
Dhoni humorously replied, “Because you took everything and I needed to have something of my own. This is the only thing you allowed.” The video concluded with a friend of MS Dhoni narrating a story from their early days when they would run out of fuel and call someone from home to bring fuel in a car.
