After the surgery, Dhoni is spending some quality time in his hometown in Ranchi. The wicketkeeper batter aced the casual look and visited his brother Narendra Dhoni after ages.
One of the CSK skipper’s fans shared Subodh Singh Kushwaha shared a photo of Dhoni in colorful attire. With Dhoni retiring from international cricket in 2020, the former India captain has a nine-month break before the next IPL season commences in March end 2024.
Dhoni has still not officially announced about taking retirement from IPL. When the CSK skipper was quizzed about playing one more IPL season, the wicketkeeper batter replied by saying, “If you see circumstantially this is the best time for me to announce retirement. But with the amount of love and affection I’ve been shown wherever I’ve been this year, the easy thing for me would be to say, ‘Thank you very much’.
But the tough thing for me is to work hard for another nine months and come back and play at least one more season of IPL. But a lot depends on the body, I have six-seven months to decide, and it will be more like a gift from my side,” Dhoni said after the final.
