MS Dhoni is at the moment preparing himself for IPL 2024. In between, he made time to attend the engagement of Rishabh Pant’s sister. Sakshi Pant got engaged to Ankit Chaudhary recently, and MS Dhoni was present to bless the couple.
“They seem very happy. They are very excited. The couple danced very well. They get along very well, I would like to wish them all the very best for the challenging times ahead. I mean, from a career perspective,” Dhoni said, leaving the audience in splits.
The short clip quickly made its way to social media and became viral, with many users appreciating the comic timing of Dhoni to take a dig at marriages.
Dhoni and Pant share a close bond. Recently, Pant was seen hanging out with Dhoni in UAE during the IPL 2024 auction.
Pant is preparing to return to competitive cricket in IPL 2024. The wicketkeeper-batter has been out for over a year since encountering a horrific car accident in December of 2022.
