Talk about the catch of the tournament. India’s ace pacer Mohammed Siraj pulled of a blinder of a catch to dismiss Nitish Kumar. In the IND vs USA clash in the ICC T20 World Cup, it was the Indian bowlers who wreaked havoc. But Mohammed Siraj stole the show by taking am absolutely stunning catch.
Siraj picks a blinder!
It needed something special to dismiss Nitish Kumar. The USA batter was well settled on the crease, with a decent score of 27 from 23 balls with 2 fours and a solitary sixer.
While Siraj didn’t pick any wicket, but his catch was extraordinary. It was an excellent ball from Arshdeep Singh who eventually bagged a four-fer. A short ball, saw the USA batter trying to go all the distance. But it was a mistimed shot.
The ball took the aerial distance and came close to Mohammed Siraj who was positioned near the boundary ropes. Siraj had to time his jump perfectly, talking a few couple of steps back before picking up a blinding catch.
In the end, Nitish’s innings prove vital. After an opening collapse, USA finally ended their innings with 110/8 against a dominant Indian Cricket Team.
