WATCH: Mohammad Amir loses cool at fan for calling him a ‘fixer’ in PSL 2024

The incident occurred during the 28th match of the PSL 2024 season between the Quetta Gladiators and Lahore Qalandars on Sunday, March 10.

Irrespective of what Mohammad Amir does in the present or future, the past will always continue to haunt him. Having been convicted of match-fixing in youth, the fast bowler has continued to carry the tag of a ‘cheat’ wherever he goes. Something similar happened during the Quetta Gladiators vs Lahore Qalandars match in Rawalpindi on March 10.

Making his way to the field. A fan kept yelling ‘fixer’ towards the pacer. Amir seemed to have made his way to the ground but stopped suddenly and returned to confront the fan.

An angry Mohammad Amir cursed the fan and said, Ghar se yehi seekh ke aate ho (Is this what they teach you at home?). A teammate of Amir’s dragged the pacer away, cooling things down.

Despite the distraction, Amir and Quetta Gladiators did not err when the crunch time came. The left-arm pacer ended the match with figures of 4-0-30-1 and restricted the Lahore Qalandars to 166.
