Australian veteran batter Alyssa Healy was present at the Kennington Oval to watch her husband Mitchell Starc bat against India on Day 4 of the WTC 2023 Final. To note, the Aussies are in commanding position and Starc has also played his part to help their side dominate India.
As mentioned above, Starc played his part with the ball as he scalped two wickets including the big wicket of Virat Kohli. Coming to bat in the second innings, the left-handed batter showed his wide range of shots as he played a quickfire 41. His innings was ended by Mohammed Shami as Kohli completed a safe catch at first slip.
Earlier, several Aussie batters got starts but none of them managed to convert it to a big score excluding the wicket-keeper batter Alex Carey who completed a fine fifty with the bat. Australia are in commanding position as the lead has already gone past the 400-run mark and it will be an uphill task for the Indian batters to secure a draw or a victory.
