Team India’s wicketkeeper KL Rahul stole the show on Day 2 of the IND vs SA 1st Test at Centurion on Wednesday. After scoring a brilliant century early in the day, the 31-year-old won hearts for showing spirit of the game while keeping the wickets.
The incident happened on the second delivery of the 45th over. Shardul Thakur managed to find the edge of David Bedingham’s bat which went to Rahul.
After completing the catch, KL Rahul indicated to the umpire that he wasn’t sure he had completed the catch cleanly. The third umpire later confirmed that the ball touched the ground before reaching KL’s gloves.

Meanwhile, South Africa are in driver’s seat after Dean Elgar’s century. The hosts are 194/3 heading into Tea with Elgar and David Bedingham unbeaten on 115 and 32, respectively.
