KL Rahul prepares for Test comeback

KL Rahul will be ready to take back the number 5 position to bolster the middle order. Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal will open proceedings with Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli occupying 3rd and 4th spot. Down the middle order, KL Rahul is expected to part the destructive Rishabh Pant.

This will be a huge benefit for the India Cricket Team. Not only will Rahul play as the role of the anchor, Pant will get the chance to play as an enforcer.

Furthermore, the inclusion of KL Rahul brings in a much needed stability in the squad. Ahead of the IND vs BAN Tests, KL Rahul will also participate in the Duleep Trophy which will serve as a preparatory tournament before Team India take the field.
