Team India’s pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah bowled a ripping yorker to dismiss last match centurion Ollie Pope on Day 2 of the IND vs ENG 2nd Test in Vizag. Bumrah bowled a lethal spell after lunch and brought India right back in the game with two back to back wickets.
After picking Root for the eighth time in Tests, Bumrah castled Ollie Pope’s stumps with a fiery yorker in the 28th over. This was the 5th time that Bumrah dismissed Pope in 10 innings.
Bumrah’s twin blows has put India’s noses in front with England still trailing by 241 runs. Jonny Bairstow and skipper Ben Stokes are in the middle after the tea break. Earlier, Yashasvi Jaiswal’s maiden double century powered India to 396 on Day 2.
