WATCH Jasprit Bumrah & Co celebrate India’s Chandrayaan-3 Moon landing in Dublin

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a video of Indian cricket team celebrating Chandrayaan-3 landing.

Indian cricket team celebrated India’s historic Chandrayaan-3 moon landing in Dublin ahead of IND vs IRE 3rd T20I on Wednesday. Notably, Chandrayaan-3’s Vikram lander successfully landed on the Moon’s south pole, making India the first country to do so.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a video of Indian cricket team celebrating and applauding while watching Chandrayaan-3 landing.

Players including skipper Jasprit Bumrah, Rinku Singh, Yashasvi Jaiswal and others were cheerfully applauding India’s historuc achievement.

The mission was launched on July 14, 2023, from Sriharikota. The lander Vikram and a rover (Pragyan) will now conduct scientific experiments on the lunar surface.

Apart from Team India, cricketers and other sports personalities also took to social media and congratulated ISRO and its team of scientists and engineers.

From cricketers Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma to boxer Vijendra Singh, many Indian sporting stars celebrated India’s historic achievement on Twitter.

Rain delays toss in IND vs IRE 3rd T20I

The toss of the IND vs IRE 3rd T20I has been delayed due to rain. Notably, India lead the three-match series 2-0. With the seris already in bag, Team India are expected to make few changes to test the bench strength.

The likes of Jitesh Sharma and Shahbaz Ahmed are likely to make in XI for the final T20I.
