Australian all-rounder Jack Edwards pulled off a stunning catch off his own bowling during the match between Sydney Sixers and Brisbane Heat in the ongoing Big Bash League (BBL) on Friday.
The moment of magic came in the 17th over. Chasing 153, Heat were struggling at 102/8 when Edwards’ stunning reflexes inflicted more pain on the hosts.
Spencer Johnson tried to go over the bowler’s head with a flat-bat hit but mistimed it. Edwards, who was in his follow-through flung his hand out to grab the travelling ball.
Talking about the game, Sixers registered a comfortable 39-run win to reach the final of the BBL 13.

Ben Dwarshuis was the star for Sixers with the ball as his 5-wicket haul helped the visitors to defend a modest total.
Sixers will face the winner of Perth Scorchers vs Adelaide Strikers in the final on January 24 at Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG).
