India’s Mr. Reliable, KL Rahul, has made his dream comeback. Making his comeback into the Test side after 10 months, Rahul slid into the role of India’s new No. 6 like it was nothing. From 121-6, the wicketkeeper batter crawled the India cricket team out of a hole, taking his team to 245.
Rahul reached his hundred with six over deep square leg off the bowing off Gerald Coetzee.
His magnificent hundred saw him change gears as he started running out of partners. Having started Day 2 at the score of 70 off 105 balls, the batter quickly raced off to 95.
After Mohammed Siraj was caught behind, Rahul had just one partner left, Prasidh Krishna. Not risking his ton, KL Rahul heaved a good-length ball by Coetzee to the leg side.
