Indian Cricket fans had their heart in their mouths when Jasprit Bumrah survived a nasty ankle twist in the India vs Sri Lanka clash. Not only did the fans but also the Indian team breathed a sigh of relief to see that Bumrah was not injured. The ace speedster had a horrible ankle roll in his follow-through action while bowling the first over for the Indian innings.
The incident took place in the 4th bowl of the Indian innings. Jasprit Bumrah bowled a fine inswinger which was pushed for 2 runs. But it was the after-action from the bowler that left the fans gasping.
In the follow-through action, Bumrah slipped and his right ankle had a massive extension. Fans had a mini heart attack when they witnessed the incident. Bumrah’s ankle rolled and but the pacer was quick to recover his stance and survive what would have been a nasty injury.

After the incident, Bumrah signaled that he was okay as concerned Indian physios looked on. Following the over, he went on to change his bowling shoes and then came back strongly. He picked a maiden wicket over in the next over. After that he went on to dismiss Kusal Mendis before finishing his spell.
Towards the latter part of the game, Jadeja went off the field and went to the dressing room where he was treated by the physios.
