The RCB vs CSK match is living up to the hype. First, it was fireworks for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru batters, and then it was the bowlers who gave the home side an upper hand. But the moment of the match was Faf du Plessis’ incredible one-handed catch.
Faf du Plessis’ superman catch
The Chennai Super Kings were still very much in the game, needing 71 runs from 31 balls. But the RCB skipper had other ideas. Stationed at mid-off, Faf decided to take matters into his own hands. The South African jumped and plucked the ball out of thin air, despite being completely out of balance.
Although it was a poor ball by Mohammed Siraj (a low full toss), Mitchell Santner didn’t do much justice either, falling to cross the 30-yard circle. But Faf du Plessis made sure he gave his team every opportunity to make it to the IPL 2024 Playoffs.
