Chants of “Kohli ko bowling do” is not at all uncommon, and the familiar chant returned on Wednesday when India played their T20 World Cup 2024 opener against Ireland.

“Kohli ko bowling do” (Let Kohli bowl) is a common occurrence. The chant was heard repeatedly during India’s ODI World Cup campaign. The chant returned once again when Royal Challengers Bengaluru played in IPL. Although, both these tournaments were in India. However, that Kohli is equally popular in other parts of the world too was proved in New York.
In a video that has gone viral since it surfaced online, Chants of “Kohli ko bowling do” echoed around the Nassau County Cricket Stadium when India were fielding.

In the video, Kohli can be seen fielding on the boundary line while the enthusiastic crowd urged Indian skipper Rohit Sharma to hand the ball to Kohli.
