Faf du Plessis scored yet another half-century in IPL 2023 on Sunday. Batting first against the Rajasthan Royals, Faf stiched viral partnerships with Virat Kohli and Glenn Maxwell to keep his side in the hunt for an above-par score. It was his seventh half-century of IPL 2023, the third most by an RCB player in a season. Virat Kohli (11) and Chris Gayle (8) have scored the most in a single season for the Bangalore franchise.

Faf du Plessis in the process also went past 4000 runs in the IPL. He is only the fourth overseas player to breach the milestone. Only David Warner, Chris Gayle and Ab de Villiers have scored more than Du Plessis among overseas players.
