Team India skipper Rohit Sharma made his first public appearance since the announcement of Hardik Pandya as the new skipper for the Mumbai Indians (MI) on Friday. The ex-MI skipper was spotted at the airport, traveling to South Africa for the upcoming two-match IND vs SA Test series.
Earlier today, former India skipper Virat Kohli was clicked at the airport as he was leaving for the rainbow nation to start the preparations for the Test series.

Notably, both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are not part of Team India’s limited overs series against the Proteas.
Suryakumar Yadav led the Indian team in IND vs SA T20Is which the side drew 1-1 on Thursday. KL Rahul will now take the leadership role in the three-match ODI series, starting on December 17.
Team India will begin the two-match Test series on Boxing Day in Centurion.
