Watch Dinesh Karthik inaugurate Natarajan Cricket Academy in Chinnappampatti

Varun Chakravarthy, Washington Sundar also were notable names present in the opening event of T Natarajan Academy.

Dinesh Karthik: T Natarajan – Dinesh Karthik inaugurated T Natarajan’s cricket academy in Chinnappampatti on Monday, June 26. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) wicketkeeper shared four pictures on Twitter congratulating the left-arm pacer for starting the new academy. It was a long cherished dream of Natarajan to start an academy in his hometown for young and budding cricketers. The SRH pacer wanted to give the aspirants superb facilities to hone their skills.

Karthik got emotional seeing his friend achieve the vision of starting the academy and said, “An honor for me to inaugurate and begin this exciting journey of Natarajan Cricket Academy which will give wings to several young talents in and around Chinnappampatti. Kudos to my friend Natarajan for bringing this dream to life.”

Dinesh Karthik: Netzines laud T Natarajan for opening an academy for aspiring cricketers

Netizens saluted Natarajan for opening a cricket academy and giving wings to budding cricketers. One of the users wrote, ‘Great thought of Natarajan.’ Another one commented Congratulations DK and Nattu.’ For the record, Karthik was in London in the broadcast team for Ashes. He flew for his friend and inaugurated the academy. The left-arm pacer expressed gratitude to Karthik for this lovely gesture.

Not only Karthik but several prominent personalities graced the event. Varun Chakravarthy, Washington Sundar, Ashok Sigamani, the president of Tamil Nadu Cricket Association, and R Sivakumar, the Superintendent of Police in Salem district were few in attendance to see the Natarajan Academy. The event also witnessed the participation of popular film actors such as Yogi Babu, Pugazh, and Gopi.

Also present were a few Tamil Nadu and TNPL players.
Hemang Badani, SRH batting coach congratulated Natarajan for opening the Cricket Academy and said, “Hearty Congratulations Nattu. There can’t be a better inspiring story than yours. I have no doubts that the stepping stones that you have laid today is going to motivate and pave the way for lots of immensely talented players from all parts to make it big just like you did,” Badani Tweeted.

Natarajan also said that he will identify young talents and offer coaching through the Cricket Academy.
