Watch: Dhruv Jurel produces magic behind the stumps to run out Ben Duckett

Debutant Jurel sent England's highest run scorer, Duckett, in the series to the dressing room with his brilliant work.

India is putting on a sensational all-round display in Rajkot. Following Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sarfaraz Khan’s 172-run stand on Day 4 of the India vs England test, Rohit Sharma and Co. came to the ground like a wolf pack. Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj threatened the English openers, Ben Duckett and Zak Crawley, but it was a piece of magic by debutant wicketkeeper Dhruv Jurel that gave India their first breakthrough.

England had started things well while chasing a mammoth 557-run target. At 15-0, Duckett and Crawley had started slowly but surely. However, a miscommunication between the two openers left Duckett coming for a single while Crawley stayed put in his crease.

Siraj, stationed at midwicket, ran towards the ball, scooped it with his right hand, and fired it at the stumps. Seeing the duo run, Dhruv Jurel came steaming in towards the stumps. He collected Siraj’s wayward throw while sliding and broke the stumps like a mongoose on amphetamines.
