WATCH: Chaos erupts in Bangladesh Celebrity Cricket League, 6 injured

As per reports, the fight broke out between two filmmakers named Mostafa Kamal Raz and Dipankar Dipon in Bangladesh Celebrity Cricket League.

Cricket field turned into war arena during the Bangladesh Celebrity Cricket League as six people participated in the event match were hospitalized after a fight broke out between two teams. As per reports, the fight broke out between two filmmakers named Mostafa Kamal Raz and Dipankar Dipon. the fight occurred following a wrong decision of the umpire and add that around 6 players got injured during the scuffle.

As the tensions escalated on the field, the match was suspended. Despite efforts to restore normalcy, the situation got more out of the control with players from both teams becoming starting to engage in physical altercation. Actress Raj Ripa alleged that Mostafa Kamal Raz and actor Sariful Razz had physically assaulted her during the post-match.

The injured players then were taken to the hospital. Joy Chowdhury, a player on Dipankar Dipan’s team also said that Raz had threatened actor Manoj Pramanik. The event organisers stated an official statement addressing these issues will be issued soon. However, team members from both the sides left the venue without offering any comments.

Speaking about the match, Mostafa Kamal Raz’s team won the toss and opted to bat first. The batting team posted an excellent total of 119 runs in six overs. Despite a valiant chase, Dipankar Dipon’s team fell short by 7 runs.

The ‘Celebrity Cricket League,’ featuring Bangladesh’s entertainment industry stars, commenced on September 28. A total of eight teams participated in the competition with Bangladeshi male and female actors participating in the tournament. However, the event has now come to an abrupt end with players getting injured from both the camps.
