Brand ambassador of Celebrity Cricket League (CCL), Salman Khan marked his presence at the tournament opener between his brother’s side Mumbai Heroes vs Kerala Strikers. Played at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium in UAE, Salman Khan seemed to enjoy his time. He alongside other stars like Ritesh Deshmukh, Chiranjeevi, and Kiccha Sudeep were also snapped with the CCL trophy.
In CCL, Salman Khan has been involved since its inception. His younger brother Sohail Khan owns Mumbai Heroes in Celebrity Cricket League. Despite not winning the CCL so far, Mumbai Heroes has grand fan base thanks to the presence of several prominent stars including Bobby Deol as well.
Expressing enthusiasm for CCL, Salman Khan said, “It is always exciting for me to join everyone at CCL. The love, the camaraderie, the excitement is what keeps me coming back to the league.”
“When we started in the first year, I never thought that we will see 10 years. The simple reason was that they were not competing against each other. Our Mumbai team was not competing but the south teams were so competitive and then Bhojpuri came in and then Kolkata came in and we had no choice but to compete with them. Even though we haven’t won the championship, there will be a time. I hope it is this time because our boys have been working really hard,” he added.
The founder of the CCL, Vishnu Vardhan Induri also paid his gratitude to the brand ambassador of CCL. He said, “We couldn’t be m ore excited to have the megastar [Khan] himself kickoff our milestone season 10. Bhaijaan’s presence is more than just star power for us, as he brings with him a touch of good fortune and bucketloads of love.
