Babar Azam recently met a fan in New York and got to witness the love these fans have for their cricketers.
Babar Azam describes fan-interaction moment
Babar Azam, while speaking to ICC Digital, talked about his run in with the child. He also revealed a gift he gave to the fan when he met him again after the game against Canada.
“I met this kid during the India vs Pakistan match. After the anthem, the kid came to me. He was excited, and suddenly started crying. The child said he was a big fan. He did the same today. We all have experienced this. When you meet a star, the excitement is at a different level,” Babar said.
“I thought if he is such a big fan of me, it is my responsibility too to gift him something that is memorable. I had gloves in my hand so I gave it to him. He became more excited and started crying against, In between tears, he asked me to sign the gloves for him,” Babar added.
