WATCH: Babar Azam consoles cameraman after Daryl Mitchell breaks his camera

Babar Azam stroked a fifty in the second T20I against New Zealand but failed to secure a win for his side on Sunday.

Former Pakistan skipper Babar Azam was seen consoling a cameraman after a maximum from Daryl Mitchell’s bat broke his equipment. Speaking about the incident, Mitchell smashed an overpitched delivery from pacer Abbas over long-off, sending the ball into the camera and smashing the expensive camera. Babar Azam who was stationed as the fielder, showed sportsmanship by consoling the cameraman and shaking hands with him.

In reply, Pakistan managed to score 173/10 in 19.3 overs as they lost the match by 21 runs. Senior batters Babar Azam (66 runs) and Fakhar Zaman (50 runs) completed their respective fifties. However, that was not enough to secure a victory for the Men in Green.
