WATCH: Babar Azam & Co. grind hard in nets ahead of PAK vs BAN World Cup clash

Pakistan captain Babar Azam alongside other team members grinded hard in the nets ahead of PAK vs BAN World Cup match. Watch

Pakistan skipper Babar Azam alongside other Pakistan team members had a lengthy practice session ahead of the PAK vs BAN World Cup match. To note, Babar Azam and Co. will face Bangladesh at the iconic Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata. Both Pakistan and Bangladesh have been poor in the World Cup so far. However, both sides will look to earn a win and try to stay alive for the semi-final’s race.

Babar Azam had a lengthy batting session

Facing the heat due to team’s poor performance, skipper Babar Azam was the first to hit the nets as he faced some throwdowns before taking on some local spin and pace bowling. Senior batters including Fakhar Zaman and Muhammad Rizwan also had a hit in the nets. Saud Shakeel also spent some time in the nets. In pacers, Mohammad Wasim Jr. and Haris Rauf did some stretching before hitting the bowling mark.

Pakistan would have considered themselves unlucky after their defeat at the hands of South Africa. They had the upper hand for a long time but ended up losing as they failed to get the final wicket. And against Bangladesh, it looks likely that Babar Azam will continue with the same team.

As mentioned above, the PAK vs BAN World Cup match will be played at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata on October 31 (Tuesday). It goes without saying that the upcoming match is a do-or-die situation for Babar Azam and his team. The Men in Green are known to bring out their best in pressure situations. It remains to be seen if they can replicate their magic this time or not.
