MI vs PBKS LIVE – Arjun Tendulkar unleashed his full skill in front of his home crowd at the Wankhede Stadium on Saturday. The left-arm pacer has grown from strength to strength since his debut, and the signs were telling as he sent Prabhsimran Singh packing. The son of Sachin Tendulkar, Arjun sent a toe crusher and nailed it to perfect to get only his second wicket of IPL 2023. Follow Indian Premier League LIVE Updates on Insidesport.IN

Arjun Tendulkar was again thrown the new ball again and started off well with just 5 runs. He returned after the powerplay and bowled a peach to get rid of the well-set Prabhsimran Singh. Prabhsimran and Atharva Taide had put on a quick-fire 50-run partnership to put Mumbai Indians on the back foot.

Captain Rohit Sharma however entrusted Arjun with the responsibility to get the breakthrough. The left-arm pacer responded in style with a fine toe-crusher to break the partnership. It is only his second wicket of the IPL, having dismissed Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the last game.

However, Arjun’s evening took turn for the worse later in the day. Rohit Sharma introduced him in the 15th over of the innings and the young pacer missed his line and length. Sam Curran and Harpreet Bhatia took him on with ease, scoring 31 from his over to shift the momentum towards the visitors. Punjab eventually put on a daunting 214 on the board in their 20 overs. Tendulkar meanwhile finished with figures of 1/48 in his 3 overs.
