Ahead of the match, when both teams were practicing at the Stadium, a fun banter was spotted between Rishabh Pant and the RR players. Rishabh Pant was seen posing for a picture with Yuzvendra Chahal and a support staff of the RR team.

The Rajasthan Royals players and management engaged in a fun banter Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant ahead of the RR vs DC clash in IPL 2024. Delhi Capitals will play their second match of the season when they take on Rajasthan Royals at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Thursday, March 28th.

Banter Galore

Ahead of the match, when both teams were practicing at the Stadium, a fun banter was spotted between Rishabh Pant and the RR players. Rishabh Pant was seen posing for a picture with Yuzvendra Chahal and a support staff of the RR team. After the picture, the RR staff claimed that Rishabh was a ‘Rajasthani’ first and then an ‘Uttarakhandi’.

Rishabh was quick to dismiss the statement, claiming himself to be an ‘Uttarakhandi’ first. However, the staff clarified that he was talking in terms of Rishabh’s cricket career and not his birth place. Rishabh agreed with the staff after hearing the clarification, with the Chahal and Rishabh breaking into a laughter.

Rishabh’s Rajasthan connection

Notably, Rishabh had played for the U-14 and U-16 teams of Rajasthan before moving to Delhi. He had moved to Delhi from Uttarakhand at quite a young age, before being selected for the age-group teams of Rajasthan.
