There is a famous saying about Pakistan’s catching: “They drop dollies but pick up blinders” on the field. Something similar was witnessed on Day 3 of AUS vs PAK 2nd Test match in Melbourne.
After Abdullah Shafique put down a regulation catch at second slip early in the day, Agha Salman pulled off an absolute blinder to get the Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh on 96.
Salman dived low to his right and plucked a one-handed catch at first slip to end Marsh’s stunning knock.
Earlier, Pat Cummins claimed his tenth five wicket-haul in Tests as Pakistan were dismissed for 264, trailing Australia by 54 runs.
