Age is just a number, they say, and New Zealand pacer Trent Boult proved exactly that with his athleticism during the ILT20 match between MI Emirates and Abu Dhabi Knight Riders on Sunday.
The magical moment came in the 18th over of Knight Riders’ innings. Fazalhaq Farooqi bowled a slower delivery and Laurie Evan went for a big shot but mistimed it. Trent Boult ran at full pace and plucked the ball out of thin air with a one-handed catch at wide long-off.
Despite posting a competitive total of 188, Abu Dhabi Knight Riders ended up as losing side with MI registering a comfortable 8-wicket win.
