Montrezl Harrell is the first Lakers sub since Ivica Zubac in January of 2019 to score at least 25 points and shoot 75% or better (he had 27 with 78.6% FG’s vs GSW tonight).
Triple-double for LeBron James with 5 minutes left in the match: 22 points, 11 assists, 10 rebounds in 30 minutes, and that’ll be it for his evening.
LAL lead 112-83 as he exits with 6:09 to play. LeBron was +33 for the game.
Great passing from LAL tonight. Kuz dropped off a no-look for a Harrell dunk, and moments later, THT fed Kuz with an extra pass for a dunk. LeBron added a pair of 3’s to quickly push the lead to 108-80.

LAL has the 2nd night of a Back-to-Back tomorrow. They’re up 20 to start the 4th Q and LeBron’s at 25 minutes. He’s starting the 4th, ideally to make sure the margin stays big enough for him to rest, but LAL did blow a 14-point 4th Q lead to GSW on Jan. 18.

KCP is now 3 for 3 from 3, and in an encouraging sign, he launched his latest transition attempt with no conscience, which was how he was playing early this season. LAL lead 80-62

Warriors vs Lakers LIVE: 2nd Quarter
LAL used a quick 11-2 run in the final 1:36 of the half to open a 65-47 lead, until a turnover in the final seconds led to a buzzer-beating 3 from Wiggins.
Nonetheless, LAL outscored GSW 36-21 in the 2nd Q. Big half from the bench, led by 19 points on 7 of 8 FG’s from Harrell.
Montrezl Harrell had 6 points in 11 minutes vs. GSW on Feb. 28, then 6 points in 19 min. vs. PHX on March 2. Since then: 26 points, 12 boards at SAC; 17 points, 6 boards, 3 blocks vs. IND; (and in the 1st half tonight: 19 points, 4 boards)
A 5-point swing as LAL could have built upon a 7-0 run with a 3-on-2 in transition, but LeBron had a rare turnover in that situation, and rookie Nico Mannion hit his 2nd 3 on the other end. LAL lead is at 38-32 nonetheless after a LeBron dunk.
Still, 8:32 left in the 2nd Q.
Gotta love a THT reverse layup.

LAL scored on their final 4 possessions of the 1st Q (THT dunk, Kuz 3, Harrell layup, Matthews 3) to open a 29-24 lead, before a late layup from Curry (15 points) made it a 3-point Lakers margin after 12 minutes. Eight of the 9 Lakers who played scored at least 2 points.
Steph Curry has 15 points in the 1st Quarter. LA Lakers commit 8 turnovers.
Kuzma’s averages from his last 2 games: 24.5 points, 13.0 rebounds, 47.4% FG’s, 43.8% 3’s. He’s also averaging 11.0 rebounds per game in his last 6 games, in 28.1 minutes per game.

Markieff Morris has a pair of early 3’s for the Lakers, but GSW has answered with Curry and Oubre to take an early 9-8 lead over LAL. Meanwhile, LeBron has 2 early Personal fouls as things get going in San Francisco.
