Warner Leadership Ban: Cricket Australia: AUS vs WI – David Warner’s hopes of captaining Australia team are all but diminished. The southpaw accused Cricket Australia of a biased review and later withdrew his leadership ban application from the Code of Conduct to Players and Players Support Personnel. The veteran feels his family is unnecessarily dragged in the Sandpaper incident, which occurred in Cape Town in 2018. Warner penned a scathing tweet, and fittingly said, “Family is more important to me than cricket.” Follow AUS vs WI Live Updates with InsideSport.IN.

Warner Leadership Ban: Warner unimpressed with CA’s double standards, feels fair justice not given to him – For the unreserved, Warner applied the Code of Conduct for medication to long-term sanctions on November 25, 2022. The Australia opener hoped for a fair review, but instead, the veteran went through humiliation as the Review Panel took it upon themselves to concoct irregular procedure. The Counsel assistant made offensive and unhelpful comments. The Review Panel also wanted to conduct a public trial of the Newlands Sandpaper saga.

The southpaw did not want his family to come under the scanner yet again and suffer more humiliation in front of the public. Warner felt cheated by CA, as the Review Panel appeared determined to expose his doings. The Review Panel nearly had a week to consider Warner’s proposal but instead provided a dismissive rejection of the substantive matters.
