Former Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Akhtar is aiming to become the first billionaire in terms of US dollars from the country. Since having retired from all formats of the game in 2011, the Rawalpindi Express has ventured into other areas apart from cricket, including real estate and broadcasting duties. The fiery pacer was one of the most dreaded bowlers across the globe during his prime.
Shoaib Akhtar wants to be richer than Pakistan
In a podcast on TNKS channel, Shoaib Akhtar revealed that he wanted to become richer than Pakistan (country) and said that he was very serious about that. The former Pakistan pacer has been earning revenue from his duties as commentators and presenter in various series. Currently, Akhtar is among the richest cricketers in Pakistan (both active and retired).
“I will be the first billionaire in US dollars to come from Pakistan. I want to become richer than Pakistan one day. I am not kidding. I am serious about it,” Shoaib Akhtar said.
