The Indian contingent will stay in Johannesburg and aim for a similar result at the venue. The South African line-up will be led by Aiden Markram in Temba Bavuma’s absence, and hope that rain doesn’t play spoilsport. According to Weather.com, the overcast conditions will remain throughout the IND vs SA 1st ODI in Johannesburg. There is around a 0-5% chance of rain from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time (1:30 to 9:30 p.m. IST) at the Wanderers Stadium on December 17. The humidity is expected to be around 35 to 63% during the playtime, while the temperature will range from 23°C to 27°C.

Since the match is starting at 10 a.m. local time, the chances of dew affecting the outcome of the match are negligible.

Due to cloudy conditions, pacers will come into the game, and spinners may find themselves within the game in the afternoon if the sky remains clear.
