Virat Kohli’s masterclass, India’s dominance in ICC events leaves Pakistani experts speechless, say..

Under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, Team India has managed to reach four ICC finals already, and have a chance of winning Champions Trophy.

Team India has been exceptional in every format of the game, as they made it to their third consecutive Champions Trophy final after beating Australia by four wickets. That is not all, that is also their third consecutive ICC final — including the World Cup 2023, T20 World Cup 2024, and now — CT 2025.

Virat Kohli Takes India to Champions Trophy Final

They might have missed this year’s WTC final, but were in the summit clashes of the last two editions. Talking about India’s dominance, ex-cricketers Ajay Jadeja, Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis engaged in a friendly banter.. with the Pakistanis claiming, that India has a right to “rub it in”.

Talking on DP World Dressing Room show, Jadeja said, “It seems like it was a walk in the park. We have been in the finals of all ICC tournaments in the last 1-2 years.” Wasim Akram was quick to point out that, the team had all the bragging rights. “He is stating the fact. They should be proud, they should be happy and they should be rubbing it in,” Akram said.

Third Consecutive Final for Team India

Meanwhile, Waqar Younis exclaimed, “They have made us so helpless that we can’t say a word.” In short, Rohit Sharma‘s team were clinical, be it batting, bowling or even fielding. After batting first, the Aussies piled up 264 runs, while India chased it down, courtesy of Virat Kohli‘s sensational 84.

Jadeja pointed out, that while it was a difficult pitch to bat on, Kohli made it look simple. “It’s just Virat Kohli as you know him. The bigger the game, he lifts his spirits. Got a hundred in the last game and he wasn’t going to throw it away (today).”

“It did surprise me as he generally finishes the game. But in the troubled period, he was in control and never allowed the questions to arise that there’s going to be pressure or let’s talk about the pitch. He looked in control. It happens on a flat pitch, but this wasn’t a flat pitch. That control was there to see, and that is why he is the chase master.”
