Virat Kohli’s massive six off Mitchell Starc shoots decibel levels up at Chinnaswamy Stadium

When Starc's slow off-cutter was hit over deep mid wicket for a six by Kohli in the second delivery of the third over, the Bengaluru crowd erupted like never-seen-before.

Virat Kohli was in excellent batting form as RCB lost to KKR in their Friday IPL 2024 match. In 20 overs, RCB amassed 182/6 thanks to an unbeaten knock of 83 runs off 59 balls from their opener. However, Faf du Plessis and associates. failed to hold on to the target as KKR won by seven wickets, reaching 186/3 in 16.5 overs.

Kohli the lone warrior

During his knock, Kohli smacked four fours and four sixes, displaying flawless shot selection. Fans were on the edge of their seats from the outset of the match when Kohli hit a four off Mitchell Starc’s opening delivery.

Bengaluru crowd goes into frenzy

When Starc’s slow off-cutter was hit over deep mid wicket for a six by Virat Kohli in the second delivery of the third over, the Bengaluru crowd erupted like never-seen-before. The crowd went into a frenzy, yelling and cheering for the RCB star at a volume of 125 decibels.

With 181 runs, Kohli is currently leading the IPL 2024 Orange Cap race. Heinrich Klaasen of SRH is in second place with 143 runs. Third and fourth are RR stars Riyan Parag (127) and Sanju Samson (97). Meanwhile, Abhishek Sharma (95) of SRH is ranked fifth.
