Indian wicketkeeper-batter echoed all the cricket lovers’ feelings when he was asked about the player matchups to look forward to in the RCB vs KKR match in IPL 2024.
The back-story
A brawl broke out between Gambhir and Kohli during an IPL 2023 league-stage game between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants. After the game, there was a heated exchange of words between Gambhir and Kohli. To restore order, other players—including Amit Mishra—had to step in as the situation deteriorated beyond recognition.

Karthik was asked the player battles to look forward to in the RCB vs KKR match. Karthik in a hillarious answer first named the battle between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir.
“Virat Kohli vs Gautam Gambhir (smiles). Mitchell Starc to Glenn Maxwell will be very interesting. Varun Chakravarthy to me (Dinesh Karthik) will be very interesting,” Dinesh Karthik said in RCB’s match preview on Friday, 29 March.
