Virat Kohli continues to dominate headlines with his exceptional on-field performances during this IPL season, cementing his position as a key player for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). Over the years, Virat Kohli’s IPL earnings have witnessed a remarkable increase. Starting his journey in 2008 with a salary of just Rs 12 lakh, his income steadily climbed to Rs 8.28 crore between 2011 and 2013, Rs 12.5 crore from 2014 to 2017, and Rs 17 crore spanning 2018 to 2021.

However, taxes have notably reduced the net amount he takes home. According to the business consultancy firm Taxology India, Kohli’s paycheck saw a decline to Rs 15 crore during the years 2022 to 2024. Nevertheless, this season has brought a significant boost, with his earnings soaring by 40% to Rs 21 crore. Across all IPL editions, his cumulative earnings now stand at a staggering Rs 179.70 crore.
