Mohammad Amir has another favorite in the Indian camp. It is not Virat Kohli, whom the Pakistan’s former pacer believes to be a match-winner, but Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya are the ones he would pick as threats in India’s side ahead of the Champions Trophy 2025.
Mohammad Amir was a key player in Pakistan’s win in the Champions Trophy 2017. He had taken three wickets, conceding 16 runs in six overs. He dismissed Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, and Rohit Sharma.
Mohammad Amir picks Hardik Pandya
Amir would have remembered Hardik Pandya’s innings in the Champions Trophy 2017, where he played a stellar knock of 76 runs off 43 balls. The Pakistani pacer picked him due to his ability to contribute with both bat and ball. Meanwhile, Amir thinks that Rohit Sharma has a lot of experience and can handle high-pressure situations well.
“For India, I would pick Hardik Pandya and Rohit Sharma. Pandya is a match-winner who can turn the game around with both bat and ball, while Rohit’s experience in high-pressure games is invaluable,” Amir said.
