Virat Kohli and Yuzvendra Chahal were seen in jubilant mood ahead of the much-anticipated tie between RR and RCB in Jaipur.

Cricket fans were treated to a delightful scene on Thursday as pictures emerged on social media showing Virat Kohli and Yuzvendra Chahal engaged in a lighthearted moment at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.

The photo, taken on the eve of the much-anticipated Match 19 of IPL 2024 between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), captured the camaraderie between the two Indian cricketers, who have shared the dressing room numerous times in the past.

Kohli and Chahal, former teammates at RCB, have always shared a playful and friendly bond. The photo showcased this dynamic perfectly, with both cricketers sporting smiles as they interacted during a practice session. How have Virat Kohli and Yuzvendra Chahal have fared in IPL 2024 so far?

Talking about their performances so far in IPL 2024, both Virat Kohli and Yuzvendra Chahal have been brilliant for their respective franchises. While Kohli has continued to dominate with the bat, Chahal has regularly spun a web around the opposition batters.

Kohli is currently the Orange Cap holder in the league, having racked up 203 runs at an incredible average of 67.67 in four innings. He has by far been the best batter for RCB, who are struggling and are placed eighth on the points table.

Chahal, meanwhile, has enjoyed three out of three wins with Royals. The leg-spinner has taken six wickets at an immaculate bowling average of 9.17 and is the joint-second-highest wicket-taker so far. Both Kohli and Chahal have gone up against each other thrice, with Kohli managing to score only nine runs off 13 balls against the 33-year-old tweaker.
