Team India’s star batter, Virat Kohli will miss IND vs ENG practice session to attend the Ram temple consecration in Ayodhya on January 22.
According to Cricbuzz, Team India will assemble in Hyderabad on January 20 for the preparations of the first Test, starting on January 25. The team will undergo a four-day practice session before the Test, but Kohli will skip one session to be part of ‘Pran Pratishtha’ event on January 22.
Kohli has reportedly secured permission from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to participate in the auspicious ceremony at Ayodhya.

Meanwhile, the Indian players and coaching staff, who are currently participating in the IND vs AFG T20Is, will get a two-day break after the final game on Wednesday and will re-join in Hyderabad on January 20.
The England team, on the other hand, will land in the city on January 21.
