India came back to the IND vs SA Test series after losing the first Test. Although the Indian batting line-up struggled during the series, Virat Kohli looked in his elements. The Indian batter scored a gritty 76 in the second innings of the first Test, although it came in a losing cause. Kohli highest-scored with 46 in the first innings of the 2nd Test to help India gain an important lead.
Now, the attention turns to the IND vs AFG T20I series where Kohli and Rohit Sharma’s inclusion is a doubt. India only have three T20Is against Afghanistan to prepare for the 2024 T20 World Cup in June. So if Kohli and Rohit are indeed included in the squad vs Afghanistan, it can be an indication that the experienced duo is likely to play the T20 World Cup.
