Royal Challengers Bengaluru star Virat Kohli sizzled with the bat against PBKS at the M Chinnaswamy stadium. After failing to get going in the first game against CSK, Kohli top-scored for RCB on Wednesday, becoming the Orange Cap holder.
After the game, the former skipper recounts his experience during the two-month break that he took from January 2024 to spend time with his family.
Virat Kohli spills beans on two-month hiatus
Virat Kohli was on a two-month break owing to personal reasons. Part of the reason was the birth of his son Akaay in February.
“We were not in the country (talking about his break). We were in a place where people were not recognising us. Just time together as a family, just to feel normal for two months – for me, my family – it was a surreal experience. Of course having two kids, things become totally different from a family perspective. Just the ability to be together, the connections you make with your older child. Couldn’t have been more grateful to God for the opportunity to spend time with the family,” Virat Kohli said.
