Virat Kohli offers glimpse of new hairstyle ahead of Asia Cup 2023; grabs eyeballs

Virat Kohli has changed his hairstyle yet again. The cricketer, who is known for his style statement apart from his explosive batting, is known to change his looks often.

The Indian batter was seen in a new haircut merely two weeks ago when popular hairstylist Vuroon Suraman-Maharaj shared the reel of Virat Kohli’s new look on his Instagram page.

Vuroon is a renowned hair expert and has worked with other Indian cricketers like Ishan Kishan, and Shubman Gill as well.

Kohli changed to a new look on Monday which was revealed when cricket enthusiast Mufaddal Vohra shared a picture of Kohli’s new hairstyle on his social media account.

The change in hairstyle comes as Kohli gears up for a busy few months. Following the Asia Cup 2023 squad selection on Monday, Kohli will join with the rest of his teammates in a preparation camp for Asia Cup at the NCA from August 24 to August 29.

Notably, Kohli was rested for the West Indies and Ireland series along with Indian captain Rohit Sharma in a bid to keep the duo fresh ahead of the Asia Cup and the ODI World Cup.

Notably, Asia Cup has always been a happy hunting ground for Kohli. He has amassed 613 runs in 10 innings previously. His average of 61.3 stands as one of the best in the history of the tournament.

The Delhi cricketer also has three centuries and one half-century in these 10 matches, scoring 50 or more runs in every 2.5 innings.

Kohli is 12th in the list of most runs scored in Asia Cup history.

Kohli’s best performance in the ODI Asia Cup came against Pakistan in 2012. The match saw the right-hander score his highest-ever ODI score of 183 runs off 143 balls. His superb knock helped India win by six wickets while chasing a mammoth 330-run target.
