Jasprit Bumrah has become the number-one-ranked Test bowler after his masterclass in Vizag. The fast bowler claimed a 9-wicket haul in the India vs England 2nd Test and has now been rightly awarded the top spot, eclipsing Kagiso Rabada and Pat Cummins.
Not only has Bumrah become the No. 1 Test bowler, but he is also the first bowler to reach the number-one ranking in all three formats. Only four cricketers have reached the top spot in all three formats (Virat Kohli, Ricky Ponting, and Matthew Hayden), and the pace menace is the first bowler to do so.
