Virat Kohli likely to miss IND vs ENG 3rd Test, BCCI keeps mum on return

IND vs ENG Test: When will Virat Kohli return? uncertainty rises with King Kohli likely to miss IND vs ENF 3rd Test

The most pertinent question in India Cricket is – When will Virat Kohli return? The star batter opted out of the first 2 IND vs ENG Test matches citing personal reasons. However, the BCCI has remained mum over Virat Kohli’s absence. There is also a lingering doubt as to when Kohli will return.

India received a major blow when Kohli pulled out of the first 2 games. The BCCI has requested the media to maintain and honour his privacy when stating that Kohli won’t be available for the couple of games.

But with the Vizag Test starting tomorrow, it remains to be seen over the availability of Kohli. In the absence of the star batter India’s batting order crumbled in the second innings in Hyderabad. India ended up losing the first Test by 28 runs.

Reports from Cricbuzz claim that Kohli is currently not in India. The star batter is abroad and thus questions have been raised about Kohli’s return to Team India. It remains to be seen when the former India skipper joins the team.

Following the conclusion of the 2nd Test, there is abundance of time before the start of the 3rd Test. There is still however a possibility that Kohli returns to the India camp. Once he joins the India camp, it is only a matter of time before he gets match fit and face the Three Lions.
