Virat Kohli: After the Test series, Kohli keen to make a statement in ODI series

After scoring 197 runs in two innings, the focus shifts to ODI series for the legendary batter. With World Cup just three months away, the 35-year-old would be eager to hit the straps and be amongst the runs.

Apart from Kohli and Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Siraj, Axar Patel, and Suryakumar are there. Pandya will be back as the vice-captain of the side after missing the Test series.

The all-rounder will be seen in the finisher role along with Jadeja and Axar. It is still not clear whether India will play Chahal and Kuldeep in the playing XI. The batting order looks sorted, with Rohit, Gill, Kohli, Kishan, and Hardik Pandya as the batters. Kishan is likely to keep owing to the Firey fifty he hit in the second Test against the Windies.
