West Delhi Boys! Virat Kohli & Ishant Sharma involve in a funny banter that you don’t want to miss

Watch how the two long-time childhood friends, Virat Kohli and Ishant Sharma, involve in a hilarious showdown

It was a classic West Delhi showdown at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru! During the do-or-die RCB vs DC IPL 2024 clash, Virat Kohli and Ishant Sharma, two long-time friends, went head-to-head in a display of pure cricketing camaraderie (and a dash of friendly fire).

Ishant has a last laugh vs Kohli

Kohli, looking in imperious touch, launched into DC’s bowling, smashing three sixes in his first 11 deliveries. Two of those towering sixes sailed majestically off Ishant’s bowling. But the veteran bowler wasn’t done yet. He had the last laugh, dismissing Kohli for the first time ever in a T20 match.

The dismissal itself was a terrific– a full-length delivery outside off that tempted Kohli into a drive without footwork. The ball took a delicate edge and found the keeper’s gloves.

The dismissal sparked a moment of pure camaraderie. Ishant, unable to contain his joy, burst into laughter as he approached Kohli. The former RCB skipper, ever the sportsman, took it in good humor. After all, these are two players who have shared countless battles for Team India, their deep-rooted friendship transcending the heat of the competition.
